Asif Mujtaba Malick is an advocate practising in cyber law, data protection, technology regulation, and commercial and technology contracts.
Before entering legal practice, Asif spent over 12 years in the software industry, working with clients across fintech, retail banking, corporate banking, and insurance. His work spanned enterprise-scale delivery for Fortune 500 and regulated institutions — including vendor-led CAPEX programmes, large systems integrations, and technology transformation — working extensively with Agile methodologies.
This grounding in both technology and regulated industries shapes how he approaches cyber law, data protection, and emerging technology regulation — areas where legal and technical questions are closely connected.
